SPOG’s tail-gate pins are made of the correct D shaped material with round shaped endings and are zinc coated for longevity.

Obviously pins will be greased during insertion which means they can equally slide out again causing the tail-gate to detach. Therefore after fitting each pin please raise the small metal flap in main body of tail-gate to secure or make some other suitable arrangement.
