Special to the Acadiane is a hoop channel section which sits around the rear doors just inside the rear edge/lip of the cargo body. This hoop has internally retained spring clips which are secured by self-tapping screws inserted from inside the van’s body.  Each hoop contains many spring clips to hold it firmly attached to the van.

Such clips tend to corrode/fail or break when the hoop is removed for restoration purposes. Some clips can be recovered, others not so.

SPOG’s replacement clips are anti-rust treated & come complete with new zinc coated self-tapping screws and washers.
