September 1967: Dyane introduced at Paris Salon.
425cc – 21hp SAE @ 500rpm Max speed 100kph 62.5mph) Front & rear drum brakes 125×380 tyres


January 1968: Dyane 4 and Dyane 6 introduced
Dyane 4 – 435cc – 26hp SAE @ 6750rpm – 2CV fiscal rating Max speed 105kph (64.5mph)
Dyane 6 – 602cc – 28hp SAE @ 5400rpm – 3CV fiscal rating Max speed 110kph (69mph)


March 1968: Dyane 425cc discontinued


September 1968: Dyane 6 power increase
33hp SAE @ 7000rpm – Max speed 110kph (69mph)


September 1969: Six light body styling introduced
Dyane 4 called “Dyane” – Dyane 6 power increased 35hp SAE @ 5750rpm – Max speed 118kph (74mph)


September 1972: Door handle grips face down instead of up


September 1973: 125×15 X tyres fitted


September 1974: New style grille – Stainless steel front & rear bumpers

20th April 1977: Dyane Caban limited edition introduced (1500 examples)


September 1977: Front disc brakes replace drums


September 1979: Separate front seats replace bench seat
Plastic fuel tank (25 litres) replaces smaller metal tank Engine modified to 32hp DIN @ 5750rpm


Summer 1980: Engine now 30hp DIN @ 5750rpm – Max speed 121kph (76mph) Dipping interior mirror added


Summer 1981: Trafficlutch option withdrawn

December 1983: Dyane disappears from Citroën’s price list
