The Deux Chevaux Club of Great Britain - affectionately known to all as '2CVGB' - is for owners and enthusiasts of the Citroën A-Series models: the 2CV, Dyane, Ami, Méhari, Bijou, Fourgonnette and Acadiane, as well as some of the 2CV's 'friends and relations' such as the Citroën H Van, Citroën LNA and kit-cars based on the 2CV chassis and running gear, such as the Lomax, Burton and Deauville. Registers Weekend 2018

Friday 1st June to Sunday 3rd June

For those of you who have never visited the glorious Wirral Peninsula you are in for a wonderful time.  Not only are we very easily accessible (30 mins from the M6 along the M56) but we have many many fabulous things to explore once you are here.

Take a Ferry Across the Mersey to Liverpool and explore the Albert Docks and Liverpool One, visit the famous Cavern Club and engulf yourself in Beatle Mania and, of course, not forgetting the fabulous Cilla!

Or you could go in the other direction and take in the sights of historic Chester with its famous Roman Walls and outdoor Roman Theatre.

We have many clean beaches for those whose dog would love a great run and swim if the tides are right; and of course, we are just a stone’s throw away from beautiful North Wales and Snowdonia National Park.

The site is approximately a mile away from an Award-Winning Farm Shop and Restaurant where you can buy locally grown vegetables, source local meats from the independent butcher, purchase local beers brewed a mile in the other direction and much much more. 

As with previous years the main day is on the Sunday, but on-site camping is available from Friday afternoon (12 noon) for those who wish to make a weekend of it?

Roadworthiness testing for vehicles of historical interest

The outcome from the ‘Roadworthiness testing for vehicles of historic interest’ consultation was released on 14 September 2017.

The Government have decided that most vehicles over 40 years old (on a rolling basis) will be exempt from MOT testing from 20 May 2018.

Those that have been ‘substantially changed’ will still require yearly testing. The Government have prepared draft guidance as to what constitutes “substantial change” in the context of old vehicles.
